HowTo hide UserAccount from Welcome Screen

If you ever asked yourself if it is possible to hide Users from Welcome Screen, then be sure … it is possible.
Instructions:

• Launch regedit
• Open the following KEY

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\

• create a key called SpecialAccounts

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts

• change into SpecialAccounts and create another key UserList

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\SpecialAccounts\UserList

• Now create a DWORD (32-bit) value with the name of the User you want to hide from Welcome Screen



• You will need a reboot to get it work
